This little doeling doesn't look like much, but on a color genetics level, she is pretty rare.  She is black, the most recessive coat type, she's brown eyed, which is recessive, and she was horned(disbudded) which is also a recessive trait.  Now what purpose can all these recessives have?  Well, they can suss out hidden traits in other goats.  Is your goat really a red buckskin?  Breed to a black goat and if you get chamoise and buckskin kids, you have your answer!  Is your gold goat hiding the swiss-marked coat type under itself?  Breed to black could let you know :)
